Special thanks to Blaine Cox for so many great photographs!

The Church of the Transfiguration serves a diverse congregation made up of year round residents, part-time residents, and visitors to the area.  In this Holy place, we come together to nurture and support each other on our spiritual journeys.  Together we find empowerment for our ministries.  Won't you join us?

Welcoming our new Rector and his family!
Rev. Wes Shields and his wife Laura.

T-Bone the dog.

Our mission as the Church of the Transfiguration is to acknowledge Jesus Christ as revealed to us in the Scriptures through worship, prayer, and study, and to proclaim the Good News joyfully in a ministry of servanthood.

The Church of the Transfiguration has called a new Rector
The Rev. John Wesley (Wes) Shields.

Fr. Shields' celebrated  his first Eucharist with us on Palm Sunday, April 13.  Wes and his wife, Laura, and their three children Emma, Cody, and Tucker reside in the Rectory.  We welcome them to our Church Family, and look forward to this next chapter in the life of our Church.
