At The Episcopal Church of the Transfiguration, we recognize the significant impact eaisly accessible clean laundry can have on an individual's well-being. Clean laundry helps boost personal confidence, alleviates stress, encourages social interaction, and nurtures self-respect. Guided by these values, we are pleased to provide The Laundry Center as a welcoming space where all members of the community can access laundry services at no cost.

The Laundry Center, located in Saylor House, is open 24-hours a day, seven days a week and is available to anyone in Hickory Nut Gorge who needs laundry services. Two washing machines, two dryers and laundry supplies are available for use at no charge.

Reading materials, coloring books and crayons, and toiletries are available for our guests to use while at the center and then take home.

Safety is a priority at the Laundry Center.  Outdoor cameras are installed and a light is always on in the room.  Guests are provided with emergency contact and assistance information.

Directional signage is installed to notify our guests that the Center may be accessed at the back entrance to Saylor House.  Parking is available next to the Center.    Map to Saylor House
